FreedomFest Canada started last year at Burls Creek Family Event Park just North of Barrie. The first year was a learning experiance and the one major thing that we gleaned from the event was that the Retro artists ( II Guys from Petra, Phil Keaggy etc.) seemed get the biggest response so therefore!!!!!!
New Look Festival!!
Freedom Fest is taking a year of but we will be back in 2009 with a new look. We will be Canada's only Christian Retro Fest. The Line Up is not Finalized but we are looking at inviting in Phil Keaggy, Randy Stonehill, David Meece, John Schlitt, Glenn Kaiser, Daniel Band, Bryan Duncan, Steve Archer, Geoff Moore, Honeytree, Daniel Amos, Dallas Holm and many more. Feel free to email us with suggestions
"The Location for 2009 has not been decided upon but we are down to just 2 possiblities 1) Back to Burls Creek Barrie or 2) we revisit the site of some the great Festivals of the 70's and early 80's Bingmans Park in Kitchener. Please feel free to email us will your preference as we are open for input!!! .”
Volunteers
As with any event of this size Volunteers are needed for both the Event and building up to the Event. We need volunteers now!! we are looking for people to help with all aspects of this event.
